It’s about family
Justin and Shana first met in 2001 in Pendleton while Justin was finishing his Business degree at BMCC. Shana was living back on the ranch after obtaining her Agricultural Business degree at Oregon State University. Truth be told, they met in a bar. Not just any bar, 'The Rainbow'. It doesn't get more Pendleton than that! They married in 2003 and moved to Marsing, Idaho where Justin worked as assistant trainer for Dan Roeser, Roeser Ranch. Shana spent her days at Agri Beef Co, Boise, Idaho working in Risk Management and weekends cheering Justin and Dan on at horse shows.
In 2006, it forever changed. Their beautiful son, Easton, graced their lives and stole their hearts. He is kind, wild, vibrant and intoxicating. He loves creepy, crawly critters and his best pal "Larry". He dreams of making it big in basketball, chasing down his first giant buck and piloting fast flying helicopters.
Easton believes everybody is a friend, no one is a stranger and that all people are good. His eyes always sparkle with excitement and wonder and "best days ever" are spent at the swimming hole, on the basketball court or on an adventure with Larry.
He is Love.
In 2009, to Easton's dismay and his parent's excitement, his littlesister Ali made her debut. She's wild beyond even Easton's imagination. She’s strong-willed, brilliant and mesmerizing.
On any day at McKay Creek, you can find Miss Ali riding her favorite gray mare, Blue, handing out the best bear hugs or packing around her many favorite good reads, while always bouncing a basketball.
Little Ali has big dreams of being a fashion stylist and super-star cowgirl!
She is Love.
An extraordinary opportunity came their way in 2010, and the result was the inception of Bailey Performance Horses. By the grace of God, it was greeted with enthusiasm from family, friends and now beloved clients. Each year it continues to grow, develop, and blossom into a family run business that prides itself on hard work, honesty and faith in the future.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us.
