Our ranch provides . . . .
a setting where young horses can be developed using the unique assets we possess that reach far beyond our arena. We believe the key to long term soundness and mental maturity is a foundation made both inside and out of the arena. The first 30 days of a horse’s training are the most important days of their life; this is the basis for our training program. Justin has the patience and insight to get young horses started, and started well. A two-year-old coming out of his program will know their job, be confident, and ready for the next step. This next step, reaching their performance potential, is something that Justin has notable experience in with 10 years of showing horses competitively in the NRCHA and AQHA.
Justin’s career began with competitive rodeo at the Junior, High School and College levels. His primary focus was on Team Roping, although he also competed in the Saddle Bronc and Calf Roping events. After finishing college with Equine Science and Business degrees, he began training horses full time as Assistant Trainer at Roeser Ranch, Marsing, Idaho. Under the experienced guidance of Dan Roeser, Justin quickly became successful showing cow horses in the NRCHA and AQHA. His career winnings exceed $50,000. His skills, however, are not restricited to the show pen. A great show horse has a great foundation. This is something that anyone who has purchased one of Justin’s 2-year-olds knows to be true. Over the past few years Justin has dedicated his time to refining what it takes to make a two-year old sale-ready. His honesty, ability, and integrity have made him a success in many sale rings.
Justin looks forward to dividing his time between the ranch, the show pen, and the sale ring, all with his young family and support team in tow.
